Alyssa Shear, owner of Raven & Root, has been in the industry since 2010. For her, being behind the chair is not only about creating beautiful hair, but also beautiful relationships. There is nothing better than the smile on someone’s face and the pep in their step when they leave her salon feeling confident.

From doing hair at the salon, rocking the competition floor and educating for Pulp Riot; Alyssa believes that being a part of creative teams, competing, and furthering her education is vital to keeping her fresh behind the chair. She believes that sharing knowledge with both other stylists and clients helps the industry grow as a whole. She always wants you to have all of the knowledge you need to feel comfortable and confident in your understanding of products and styling so you can maintain your beautiful hair between appointments.
